Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq (AS) was the sixth Imam of Shia Islam. He is known for establishing the Ja'fari school of jurisprudence.
Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq (AS) was born in 702 CE in Medina. He was the sixth Imam and is known as "al-Sadiq" (the truthful). He established the Ja'fari school of jurisprudence and trained thousands of students. He was martyred by poisoning in 765 CE in Medina.
