Imam Musa al-Kadhim (AS) was the seventh Imam of Shia Islam. He is known for his patience and endurance during imprisonment.
Imam Musa al-Kadhim (AS) was born in 745 CE in Medina. He was the seventh Imam and is known as "al-Kadhim" (the one who suppresses anger). He spent many years in prison under the Abbasid caliphs. He was martyred by poisoning in 799 CE in Baghdad.
